Is AAA Banking going away?
No, AAA Banking is not going away. AAA Banking will continue to serve members just as it always has.
What happened to Auto Club Trust, FSB?
Effective April 1, 2025, Auto Club Trust, FSB merged into Grasshopper Bank, N.A. Grasshopper Bank is now the exclusive provider of depository and lending services (excluding credit cards) for AAA members and insureds across The Auto Club Group’s 14-state territory.
Why do I still see the Auto Club Trust name?
While the official transition to Grasshopper Bank is complete, you may still occasionally see the Auto Club Trust, FSB name pop up over time on older documents, historical statements, or legacy systems. Please rest assured that this is completely normal, expected, and does not affect the security or status of your accounts.
Is my personal data secure?
Yes. Your personal information is protected under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and is secured using state-of-the-art encryption and secure systems.
Where can I find the updated Privacy Policy?
You can access the latest copy of our Privacy Policy at any time on the AAA Banking website or request a copy by contacting Customer Service.
Has my routing number changed?
No. Your routing number remains the same as it was prior to the merger. This means that any existing direct deposits, automatic payments, wire transfers, or other linked services tied to your routing number will continue to process without interruption.
However, if you opened a new Triple Advantage Checking, Triple Advantage Savings, or Triple Advantage CD account after April 1, 2025, or obtained an auto loan after May 12, 2025, you may have a separate routing number associated with those accounts. To ensure you are using the correct routing number, we encourage you to log in to online or mobile banking and review the account details there.
Deposits
Has my account number changed?
No. Your account number(s) remain the same. If any changes arise in the future, we’ll notify you well in advance and provide clear guidance on any actions needed.
Can I still access online banking?
Yes. You can continue accessing your account online by logging in to online banking or using the Triple Advantage Banking app.
Will my direct deposits, bill payments, or automatic transfers be affected?
No. All direct deposits, recurring bill payments, and automatic transfers will continue without interruption. You do not need to update any information at this time.
Have the ways I make deposits changed?
Yes. With the permanent closure of the Dearborn branch, in-person deposits at a physical branch are no longer available. However, you can continue to make deposits using the following convenient methods:
- ATM Cash Deposits: You can deposit cash at participting MoneyPass ATMs. To find a deposit-enabled ATM near you and detailed instructions, please review our ATM Cash Deposits guide.
- Mobile Check Deposits: You can securely deposit checks using the Mobile Check Deposit feature in the Triple Advantage Banking app. For instructions on how to find and download the app, click here.
- Mail-In Deposits: If you prefer to mail your check deposits, please send them to our designated P.O. boxes for manual processing. For a current list of our mailing addresses for payments and correspondence, click here.
Is my money still safe?
Yes. Deposits remain FDIC-insured up to the standard coverage limits, at least $250,000 per depositor, as they were before the merger.
Auto Loans
Have my loan terms changed?
No. Your existing auto loan terms—including your APR, finance charges, and repayment schedule—remain unchanged. You will continue receiving your statements and disclosures as usual.
Have the ways I make payments changed?
Yes. With the permanent closure of the Dearborn branch, in-person loan payments at a physical branch are no longer available. However, you can easily make your payments using any of the following methods:
- Online & Mobile Banking: You can make, schedule and manage your auto loan payments anytime, anywhere by logging in to online banking or using our Triple Advantage Banking app. For step-by-step instructions, please review our Online Auto Loan Payments guide.
- Mail-In Loan Payments: If you prefer to mail your auto loan payments, please send them to our designated P.O. boxes for manual processing. For a current list of our mailing addresses for payments and correspondence, click here.
Mortgage Loans
Has the servicer for my mortgage loan changed?
No. The servicer for your mortgage loan has not changed. You should continue making your payments as you always have, using the same payment methods, mailing address, and account information.
Have the ways I make payments changed?

Is the AAA Banking branch in Dearborn still open?
No. The AAA Banking branch in Dearborn, Michigan is permanently closed as of March 31, 2026. While the banking branch is no longer in operation, the office location remains open to support other AAA products and services.
